Tutu Cute!

Well I decided to attempt a tutu for Amaya's Halloween costume, she is going to be a witch! So I googled "How to make a tutu" found a blog, where the lady explained it, sounded very easy, so I bought some tulle and started it last night. The hardest part was cutting the tulle, it moves a lot and it is a ton of cutting, after that the tutu itself took about an hour. We are both very happy with it!!

Ralph's World

Well today was the long awaited Ralph's World concert, Amaya has been literally counting down the days! This was the 3rd one we have gone to and each time it seems like she loves him more and more!! On the way home she asked when we were going back :)
We had a great time, her friends Isa, Jamie, Ty and Jace were there too, so they danced and had so much fun.
After the concert we went to Anthony's on the water, the food was good and the view and weather were amazing!

OMG HOORAY!!!

For those of you who do not know, I applied for a nurse residency program in the NICU at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland...... today I found out I got the job!! I am beyond thrilled about this, it is seriously my dream job, the reason I went to nursing school!!

Falling Into Fall!

We had a beautiful fall day on Tuesday, so the kids and I took full advantage of it! We went on a nature walk and to play in the park. When we got home Amaya, created some pictures with her treasures from the nature walk!

Summer Rewind!

Well it is officially fall now, we had a really fun summer!Summer started out with our annual trip to Florida to visit Memaw and Papa, Heath, Laura, Megan and Johnathon, we had so much fun! Tyson did fantastic on his first plane trip, he was not really enjoying the beach, until after we got him some antibiotics for his ear infection (poor guy!). Amaya was a little leary of the water, but by the end of the trip she was loving the pool, still not a fan of the Gulf!

For the 4th of July we went down to the Oregon Coast and stayed with Mama and Papa, John, Karen, Brandon and Ashlee. It was so much fun! Amaya adores her big cousins, I think they like her a little bit too! We hung out at the house and beach, did some shopping and went to the Aquarium!

And of course we went to Portland for the Brew Fest! The kids and I went to a Hawaiian Festival instead of the Brew Fest, but fun was had by all. After a day of festing we had dinner with Grammy, G-Daddy, Bob, Mary, Mamma, Papa, Aunt Lil, Steve, and Carla, we of course at Hawaiian Cafe and it was SOOOOO GOOOD!!!

In August we spent a lot of time at home, playing in the sun, and having lots of fun! Towards the end of the month we got a visit from Dave's parents, his sister and her fiance! Amaya loved making sushi with her Oba-san, taking walks with Oji-san, and playing with Amy and Paolo!

We had a great summer and made some great memories!
