Well Christmas has come and gone! We had a great time and the kids were beyond spoiled, we need another playroom!! We got a white Christmas as well and it is so pretty! Enjoy the explosion of pictures!

Snow Day!

Today we played in the snow for a little bit, it was cold and Tyson was like the kid in A Christmas Story and couldn't move too well in his clothes. The kis loved getting pulled around the yard in the sled. The snow didn't accumulate much on the grass but there are some drifts that are high and the snow plow came and the sides of the roads are piled high!

Wednesday evening the snow began to fall, Thursday I went to work at the hospital and a normal 35 minute drive took me 3.5 hours!! I ended up staying the night at the hospital with several other nurses since we worked Friday. Friday the roads were clear and I made it home. Saturday afternoon another storm moved in and it was WILD!! We had winds (30-60mph) and snow all night. We actually lost power for a few hours over night. But we survived! Today is snowing more with another 3-6in expected. The rest of the week looks better though! Here are some pics and video. The videos do not do the wind justice, it was blowing so hard at some points that we could not see the houses around us! We had snow banks in the front and back.

December Already!!

Wow time is flying by, we have been very busy lately!! Amaya is enjoying school and learning lots everyday. Tyson is starting to take a few steps here and there and also saying some words "Hello" "Bye bye" "Bow-wow" "Elmo" and he tries Mickey Mouse, Brobee, Binky and Blankie. I am loving the NICU and Dave is very busy with the holidays at Walgreens. We are looking forward to celebrating Christmas with the family and relaxing!

Happy 4th Birthday Amaya!!

Saturday we had Amaya's birthday party and it was fantastic!! The day started with ballet, then last minute running around and then PAR-TAY time!!! We had Dizzy's Tumblebus come to the house, this is a school bus that has been renovated to become a small gymnastics play area. The kids had a great time and even did a zipline!!! Amaya's party was themed Hannah Montana, but we got a Hello Kitty cake because Baskin-Robbins did not have HM, but it worked out great because Amaya wore her new Hello Kitty outfit. Her favorite gift was her new Hannah Montana guitar from Grammy and G-daddy!!
