Snowin' and Blowin'
Wednesday evening the snow began to fall, Thursday I went to work at the hospital and a normal 35 minute drive took me 3.5 hours!! I ended up staying the night at the hospital with several other nurses since we worked Friday. Friday the roads were clear and I made it home. Saturday afternoon another storm moved in and it was WILD!! We had winds (30-60mph) and snow all night. We actually lost power for a few hours over night. But we survived! Today is snowing more with another 3-6in expected. The rest of the week looks better though! Here are some pics and video. The videos do not do the wind justice, it was blowing so hard at some points that we could not see the houses around us! We had snow banks in the front and back.

I know this will sound crazy, but we live in CA, I am so jealous of your snow! Looks like so much fun! Austin has never seen or touched snow!! He love Frosty the Snowman and we want to take him to see the snow so bad... hopefully next winter we will make a trip up there to visit :) I know Damien has been wanting to visit the family. Stay safe and warm!
